625 ILCS 5/16-102.7 new

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a municipality, township, county, or other unit of local government may not impose a civil penalty for violation of the Illinois Vehicle Code that is in excess of the civil penalty specified in the Code.

2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
5Section 16-102.7 as follows:
