AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
Section 16-102.7 as follows:
(625 ILCS 5/16-102.7 new)
Sec. 16-102.7. Penalty limits. A municipality, township,
county, or other unit of local government may not impose a
civil penalty for violation of this Code that is in excess of
the civil penalty specified in this Code.
