1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing
5Section 6-505 as follows:
6 (625 ILCS 5/6-505) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-505)
7 Sec. 6-505. Commercial motor vehicle driver - duty to
8report certain previous employment to potential employer. Each
9person who applies for employment as a driver of a commercial
10motor vehicle, with any employer, shall notify such potential
11employer at the the time of such application of any and all
12previous employment for the last 10 years, as a driver of a
13commercial motor vehicle including, but not necessarily
14limited to, the dates between which the applicant drove for
15each employer, the reason for leaving each such employment and
16the information contained in the notification requirements of
17Section 6-504.
