AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing
Section 6-505 as follows:
(625 ILCS 5/6-505) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-505)
Sec. 6-505. Commercial motor vehicle driver - duty to
report certain previous employment to potential employer. Each
person who applies for employment as a driver of a commercial
motor vehicle, with any employer, shall notify such potential
employer at the the time of such application of any and all
previous employment for the last 10 years, as a driver of a
commercial motor vehicle including, but not necessarily
limited to, the dates between which the applicant drove for
each employer, the reason for leaving each such employment and
the information contained in the notification requirements of
Section 6-504.
