AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section
11E-5 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/11E-5)
Sec. 11E-5. Purpose and applicability. The The purpose of
this Article is to permit greater flexibility and efficiency in
the reorganization and formation of school districts for the
improvement of the administration and quality of educational
services and for the best interests of pupils. This Article
applies only to school districts with under 500,000
inhabitants.
