| 1 | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
| |||||||||||||||
| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | |||||||||||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| |||||||||||||||
| 4 | Section 5. The amount of $9,000,000 or so much thereof as | |||||||||||||||
| 5 | may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public | |||||||||||||||
| 6 | Health from the General Revenue Fund for continued funding to | |||||||||||||||
| 7 | the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics for | |||||||||||||||
| 8 | grants and other expenses of free and charitable clinics to | |||||||||||||||
| 9 | provide care or make referrals for uninsured or underinsured | |||||||||||||||
| 10 | people living with acute and chronic health issues, including, | |||||||||||||||
| 11 | but not limited to, medical health care, behavioral health | |||||||||||||||
| 12 | care, oral health care, outreach, health education, screening | |||||||||||||||
| 13 | and testing, medication and related expenses, disease | |||||||||||||||
| 14 | prevention, and vaccinations.

| 15 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, | |||||||||||||||
