AN ACT concerning regulation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
changing Section 351A-2 as follows:
(215 ILCS 5/351A-2) (from Ch. 73, par. 963A-2)
Sec. 351A-2. Group policy issued in another state. No group
long-term care insurance coverage may be offered to a resident
of this this State under a group policy issued in another state
to a group described in paragraph (4) of subsection (e) of
Section 351A-1, unless the Director determines that this State
or another state having statutory and regulatory long-term care
insurance requirements substantially similar to those adopted
in this State has made a determination that such requirements
have been met.
