AN ACT concerning health.
| ||||
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||
represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||
Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by adding | ||||
Section 4.6 as follows:

(225 ILCS 10/4.6 new) | ||||
Sec. 4.6. Vaccination requirements for employees. No | ||||
person may be employed by a child care facility that cares for | ||||
children ages 6 and under unless that person shows proof of | ||||
having received: (i) one dose of the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, | ||||
and pertussis) vaccine; and (ii) 2 doses of the measles, mumps, | ||||
and rubella (MMR) vaccine or shows proof of immunity to MMR.
