1 AN ACT concerning courts.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Attorney Act is amended by changing Section
55 as follows:
6 (705 ILCS 205/5) (from Ch. 13, par. 5)
7 Sec. 5. It shall be the the duty of the clerk of the
8supreme court to make and keep a record, stating at the head
9thereof that the persons whose names are therein written have
10been regularly licensed and admitted to practice as attorneys
11and counselors at law within this State, and that they have
12duly taken the oath of office as prescribed by law, which shall
13be certified and indorsed on the license.
