AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 967
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 967 on page 13, by
replacing lines 18 through 26 with the following:
"(k) The Secretary of State shall, as a condition of
reissuance or reinstatement of a license or permit to an
applicant whose driver's license or permit has been revoked
under paragraph (4), (6), (11) or (14) of subsection (a) of
this Section, require the applicant to participate in a driver
remedial education course approved by the Secretary."; and
on page 14, by deleting lines 1 and 2; and
on page 29, by inserting below line 23 the following:
"(c-10) The Secretary of State shall, as a condition of
reissuance or reinstatement of a license or permit to an
applicant whose driver's license or permit has been suspended
or revoked under paragraph (2), (3), (4), (16), (21), (37) or
(40) of subsection (a) of this Section, require the applicant

by the Secretary."; and
on page 30, by deleting lines 9 through 23; and
on page 31, by inserting the following below line 1:
"Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
2013.".
