AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Public Library District Act of 1991 is
amended by changing Section 30-30 as follows:
(75 ILCS 16/30-30)
Sec. 30-30. Compensation of trustees. Trustees shall serve
without compensation but shall be reimbursed from district
funds for their actual and necessary expenses incurred in the
performance of their duties. For purposes of this Section,
"compensation" means any salary or other benefit not expressly
authorized by this Act that is provided to, paid to, or paid on
behalf of trustees.
