AN ACT concerning aging.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons
Property Tax Relief and Pharmaceutical Assistance Act is
amended by changing Section 3.01 as follows:
(320 ILCS 25/3.01) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 403.01)
Sec. 3.01. Claimant. "Claimant" means an individual who has
filed a claim for a property tax relief grant under this Act.
In appropriate contexts, "claimant" may also include a person
who has applied for pharmaceutical assistance under this Act or
for other benefits that that are based on eligibility for
benefits under this Act.
