AN ACT concerning public aid.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
changing Section 5E-10 as follows:
(305 ILCS 5/5E-10)
Sec. 5E-10. Fee. Every nursing home provider shall pay to
the the Illinois Department, on or before September 10,
December 10, March 10, and June 10, a fee in the amount of
$1.50 for each licensed nursing bed day for the calendar
quarter in which the payment is due. This fee shall not be
billed or passed on to any resident of a nursing home operated
by the nursing home provider. All fees received by the Illinois
Department under this Section shall be deposited into the
Long-Term Care Provider Fund.
