AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Secretary of State Act is amended by
changing Section 2 as follows:
(15 ILCS 305/2) (from Ch. 124, par. 2)
Sec. 2. Oath. The The Secretary of State shall, before
entering upon the duties of his office, take and subscribe the
oath or affirmation prescribed by Article XIII, Section 3 of
the Constitution, which shall be filed in his office.
