1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Secretary of State Act is amended by
5 changing Section 2 as follows:
6 (15 ILCS 305/2) (from Ch. 124, par. 2)
7 Sec. 2. Oath. The The Secretary of State shall, before
8 entering upon the duties of his office, take and subscribe the
9 oath or affirmation prescribed by Article XIII, Section 3 of
10 the Constitution, which shall be filed in his office.
