15 ILCS 405/28 new
Amends the State Comptroller Act. Provides that, whenever the Department of Transportation or the Capital Development Board submits a voucher to the Comptroller for payment, the agency shall include with the voucher the following information, without limitation: (1) whether the voucher includes a payment to a subcontractor; and (2) if the voucher includes a payment to a subcontractor, the name of each subcontractor and the amount of the voucher that is to be paid to each subcontractor. Provides that the information shall be posted on the State Comptroller's website. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The State Comptroller Act is amended by adding
Section 28 as follows:
(15 ILCS 405/28 new)
Sec. 28. Subcontractor information. Notwithstanding any
other provision of law, whenever the Department of
Transportation or the Capital Development Board submits a
voucher to the Comptroller for payment, that agency shall
include with the voucher the following information, without
limitation: (1) whether the voucher includes a payment to a
subcontractor; and (2) if the voucher includes a payment to a
subcontractor, the name of each subcontractor and the amount of
the voucher that is to be paid to each subcontractor. That
information shall be posted on the State Comptroller's website.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
