SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
20 ILCS 3305/7.5 new

Amends the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act is
5amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 3305/7.5 new)
7 Sec. 7.5. Disaster declaration; local health departments.
8If the Governor has issued a statewide disaster proclamation
9under Section 7, all local health departments shall, for the
10period during which that proclamation remains in effect,
11report to and be directed by the Department of Public Health.
