| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Marcus Jones for | ||||||
| 4 | his 4th place finish in the 400-meter dash event at the 2009 | ||||||
| 5 | Illinois High School Association State Track & Field Meet; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Marcus Jones is a senior at Oswego East High | ||||||
| 7 | School; he currently holds the record at his school for the | ||||||
| 8 | 400-meter dash; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Marcus Jones is a 3-year varsity letter winner in | ||||||
| 10 | track and a varsity letter winner in 3 sports; he was | ||||||
| 11 | designated All-conference in track in 2009 and has been | ||||||
| 12 | designated All-State; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Marcus Jones serves as a model of hard work, | ||||||
| 14 | integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of | ||||||
| 15 | Illinois; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 17 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 18 | congratulate Marcus Jones for his impressive performance and | ||||||
| 19 | wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be | ||||||
| 20 | it further
