2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the staff, | ||||||
4 | faculty, students, and alumni of Reavis High School as they | ||||||
5 | celebrate their 60th anniversary of educational excellence; | ||||||
6 | and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, An Open House Celebration will be held on October | ||||||
8 | 3, 2010; presentations, tours, booths, and other activities are | ||||||
9 | planned to celebrate this special occasion; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Many teachers from the past, as well as coaches, | ||||||
11 | sponsors, and students are expected to attend this event; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, A Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony will be held at noon and | ||||||
13 | will feature a documentary about Reavis High School, produced | ||||||
14 | by the Reavis High School Communications Club, with narration | ||||||
15 | by the first Mayor of Burbank, John W. Fitzgerald; and

16 | WHEREAS, The festivities will move to the Main Gym for the | ||||||
17 | cutting of cake and the singing of "Happy Birthday, Reavis", | ||||||
18 | led by the band, cheerleaders, and Ricky the Ram; therefore, be | ||||||
19 | it

20 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

2 | congratulate everyone that will be celebrating this special day | ||||||
