| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Commander James | ||||||
| 4 | Alexander on his retirement from the Illinois State Police | ||||||
| 5 | after 35 years; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, James Alexander has worked his way up the ranks | ||||||
| 7 | during his 35 year career; he graduated from Cadet Class #56 in | ||||||
| 8 | 1978 and was assigned to ISP District 2; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, James Alexander was promoted from Trooper to | ||||||
| 10 | Sergeant in 1984 and to Master Sergeant in 1993; he transferred | ||||||
| 11 | from District 2 to Region 2 in 1995 and then from Region 2, | ||||||
| 12 | Tactical Response Team to the Metropolitan Enforcement Group in | ||||||
| 13 | 1999; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, James Alexander transferred to District Chicago | ||||||
| 15 | Patrol in 2002; he was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain in | ||||||
| 16 | 2009; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, James Alexander transferred from District Chicago | ||||||
| 18 | Patrol to District 1 Commander on May 1, 2009; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, James Alexander is married to Deb; they have 2 | ||||||
| 20 | daughters, Kaitlyn Alexander and Jessica Oros and a son-in-law, | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | Garrett; they have a dog, Jack; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 3 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 4 | we congratulate James Alexander on his retirement from the | ||||||
| 5 | Illinois State Police; and be it further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 7 | presented to Commander James Alexander.
