| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Alex Bussen on achieving | ||||||
| 4 | the rank of Eagle Scout on November 26, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Alex Bussen is a member of Boy Scouts of America | ||||||
| 6 | Troop 497; he is a junior at Conant High School in Hoffman | ||||||
| 7 | Estates; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout project, Alex Bussen provided | ||||||
| 9 | cost-free, high-quality musical instruments to junior high | ||||||
| 10 | students in his community; in little less than a year, he | ||||||
| 11 | delivered 21 violins, trumpets, trombones, flutes, and | ||||||
| 12 | clarinets at no cost to the students of School District 54; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, As part of his involvement with Scouting, Alex | ||||||
| 14 | Bussen was a part of National Youth Leadership Training, which | ||||||
| 15 | helps impart the skills needed to be a good leader; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Alex Bussen is also involved with the Schaumburg | ||||||
| 17 | Youth Orchestra; it was his passion for music that gave him his | ||||||
| 18 | idea for his Eagle Scout project; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 20 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
