HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, To commemorate the 200 year anniversary of
3Illinois statehood, the Illinois Department of Veterans
4Affairs and the Illinois Bicentennial Commission announced
5recipients of the Bicentennial HONOR 200 award; and
6 WHEREAS, This award is to be bestowed upon 200 veterans on
7December 3, 2018, which is the official 200th birthday
8celebration for the State; and
9 WHEREAS, The HONOR 200 award recipients were chosen based
10on their achievements, as well as the extent to which their
11contributions have aided, benefited and inspired their
12communities; in addition, nominees must have received an
13honorable discharge from the U.S. military and resided in the
14State of Illinois; and
15 WHEREAS, The HONOR 200 award recipients are: Daniel L.
