| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Jean Collins on the | ||||||
| 4 | occasion of her 100th birthday on December 10, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Jean Collins was born on December 10, 1918; she | ||||||
| 6 | worked as a nurse at Rush Medical Center for more than 20 | ||||||
| 7 | years; she retired from Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Jean Collins is a member of the Oakdale Missionary | ||||||
| 9 | Baptist Church, where she served as President of Missionary; | ||||||
| 10 | she has been a supporter of the Ora Higgins Youth Foundation; | ||||||
| 11 | and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Jean Collins is a kind and caring mother, | ||||||
| 13 | grandmother, and great-grandmother; she shares her love and | ||||||
| 14 | wisdom with many; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 16 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 17 | congratulate Jean Collins on the occasion of her 100th | ||||||
| 18 | birthday; and be it further
