2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Howard | ||||||
4 | Johnson of Peoria, who passed away on November 14, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson was born on January 12, 1943 in | ||||||
6 | Peoria; his parents were Roy and Anna Johnson; he married Betty | ||||||
7 | Smith on July 31, 1968 in Peoria; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson worked for P.J. Hoerr, Inc. for 22 | ||||||
9 | years until his retirement in 1991; he later became the owner | ||||||
10 | and operator of the Jon-Del Construction Company; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson was a member of Laborers | ||||||
12 | International Union of North America Local 165, the Atomic | ||||||
13 | Jets, and the Outcast Motorcycle Club; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson was preceded in death by his | ||||||
15 | parents; his wife, Betty; a son, Roy Cockfield; 2 brothers, | ||||||
16 | Thomas and Walter Johnson; and 2 sisters, Dora Brown and Carol | ||||||
17 | White; and

18 | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson is survived by 6 children, Alesia | ||||||
19 | Wilkinson, Donald (Karen) Smith, Bruce Cockfield, Linnie | ||||||
20 | (Patricia) Cockfield, Parrish (Tanya) Johnson, and Howard |

9 | Howard Johnson; and be it further
