| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Catherine | ||||||
| 4 | Mundsinger on the occasion of her retirement as Director of | ||||||
| 5 | Elementary Teaching and Learning of Oswego Community Unit | ||||||
| 6 | School District 308; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Cathi Mundsinger began her career as a speech | ||||||
| 8 | therapist in Kendall County and a part-time worker in Sandwich | ||||||
| 9 | for 5 years before being hired as a speech and language | ||||||
| 10 | pathologist for District 308 at East View Elementary School in | ||||||
| 11 | 1986; as she passed her 10-year mark with the district, she | ||||||
| 12 | accepted a position as assistant principal at East View; she | ||||||
| 13 | remained in that position until 1998, when she served as | ||||||
| 14 | interim principal at Old Post Elementary School; she assumed | ||||||
| 15 | the principal position at Old Post the following year; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, In 2006, Cathi Mundsinger was chosen to serve as | ||||||
| 17 | Director of Elementary Teaching and Learning in District 308; | ||||||
| 18 | during her tenure as Director, she was named Leader of the Year | ||||||
| 19 | in 2005 and 2007; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Cathi Mundsinger and her loving husband, Wayne, | ||||||
| 21 | have 2 children, Anne and Andrew, and 4 grandchildren; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Cathi Mundsinger plans to spend her retirement | ||||||
| 2 | reading, sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family, | ||||||
| 3 | particularly her grandchildren; and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, Cathi Mundsinger has served as a model of hard | ||||||
| 5 | work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of | ||||||
| 6 | Illinois; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 8 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 9 | congratulate Catherine Mundsinger on the occasion of her | ||||||
| 10 | retirement and wish her many happy and healthy retirement | ||||||
| 11 | years; and be it further
| ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 13 | presented to Cathi Mundsinger as a symbol of our esteem and | ||||||
| 14 | respect.
