| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Janice Kay (Belski) and | ||||||
| 4 | Patrick George Malone on the occasion of their 50th wedding | ||||||
| 5 | anniversary; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Janice Malone was born in Spring Valley to Peter | ||||||
| 7 | and
Alice Lynn (Bourke) Belski on September 30, 1945; she | ||||||
| 8 | attended Spring Valley grade schools and Hall High School; she | ||||||
| 9 | then
attended St. John's School of Nursing, where she attained | ||||||
| 10 | the designation of Registered Nurse (RN) and
embarked on a | ||||||
| 11 | career in healthcare with St. Margaret's Hospital that spanned | ||||||
| 12 | over 50 years; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Patrick Malone was born in Ottawa to George | ||||||
| 14 | Patrick "Pat" and
Marjorie (Meagher) Malone on July 20, 1943; | ||||||
| 15 | he attended St. Patrick's Grade School and LaSalle-Peru | ||||||
| 16 | Township High
School; he earned his associate's degree from | ||||||
| 17 | L-P-0 Junior College (later Illinois Valley Community
| ||||||
| 18 | College); he served honorably in a combat zone with the United | ||||||
| 19 | States Navy during the Vietnam
War; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, The Malones were united in marriage at St. Ann's | ||||||
| 21 | Catholic Church
in Spring Valley on October 23, 1965; over the | ||||||
| 22 | years, they welcomed four children and two grandchildren to | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | their family -
Patrick (Stacy), Jennifer (deceased), Neil, and | ||||||
| 2 | Melissa, and Melissa's sons, Jack and Wyatt; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 4 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 5 | congratulate Patrick and Janice Malone on their 50th wedding | ||||||
| 6 | anniversary
and wish them many more wonderful years together; | ||||||
| 7 | and be it further
