HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives wish to
congratulate White Eagle Elementary School on being recognized
as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education;
and
WHEREAS, The National Blue Ribbon Schools program
recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high
schools where students perform at very high levels or where
significant improvements are being made in students' levels of
academic achievement; a National Blue Ribbon Schools flag
waving overhead has become a trademark of excellence and a
symbol of quality recognized by everyone from parents to
policy-makers in thousands of communities; and
WHEREAS, White Eagle Elementary School is in Indian Prairie
School District 204 and was founded in 1995; its mascot is the
wolf; and
WHEREAS, The principal of White Eagle Elementary School is
Jon Vogel; and
WHEREAS, The celebration for White Eagle Elementary School
is November 20, 2012; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
we congratulate White Eagle Elementary School on being named a
Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to White Eagle Elementary School as a symbol of our
respect and esteem.
