| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Dr. Charles Seten | ||||||
| 4 | on the occasion of his retirement from Primary Care Group in | ||||||
| 5 | Harrisburg on August 10, 2012; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten married Nancy Bramlet Seten in | ||||||
| 7 | 1964; he has 2 children, Sara Berghausen and Charlie Seten; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten earned his bachelor's degree in | ||||||
| 9 | zoology from Southern Illinois University and his doctorate of | ||||||
| 10 | medicine from University of Illinois; he served his country | ||||||
| 11 | with pride as a member of the United States Army from 1972 to | ||||||
| 12 | 1974; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten began practicing medicine in | ||||||
| 14 | Harrisburg in 1976; in 1997, he merged his private practice, | ||||||
| 15 | Harrisburg Internal Medicine, with Harrisburg Family Practice | ||||||
| 16 | to form the Primary Care Group; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten has been a member of numerous | ||||||
| 18 | organizations, including the American College of Physicians, | ||||||
| 19 | the Board of Directors of Harrisburg Medical Center, Family | ||||||
| 20 | Practice, the
Residency Program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, | ||||||
| 21 | and the Illinois State Medical Society; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten serves as a model of hard work, | ||||||
| 2 | integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of | ||||||
| 3 | Illinois; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 5 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 6 | we congratulate Dr. Charles Seten on the occasion of his | ||||||
| 7 | retirement and wish him many happy and healthy retirement | ||||||
| 8 | years; and be it further

| 9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
