| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Rev. Ralph Brandon on 50 | ||||||
| 4 | years in the ministry; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Rev. Brandon is the Senior Pastor at Christian | ||||||
| 6 | Covenant Fellowship in Carterville, where he has been preaching | ||||||
| 7 | for the past 25 years; he has been a full-time pastor for 50 | ||||||
| 8 | years; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Rev. Brandon is the founder of Unity Christian | ||||||
| 10 | School in Herrin and serves as a motivational speaker and grief | ||||||
| 11 | counselor; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Rev. Brandon enjoys peppering his sermons with | ||||||
| 13 | humor; his office shelves can be found with selections of books | ||||||
| 14 | featuring classic comedians such as Milton Berle and Groucho | ||||||
| 15 | Marx; therefore, be it

| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 17 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 18 | congratulate Rev. Ralph Brandon on 50 years in the ministry and | ||||||
| 19 | we wish him many more wonderful years; and be it further

| 20 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
