| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Captain Edward | ||||||
| 4 | Hershberger of the Normal Fire Department on his retirement; | ||||||
| 5 | and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Captain Hershberger will retire on April 16, 2010, | ||||||
| 7 | after completing 28 years of service to the people of Normal | ||||||
| 8 | and McLean County; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, He began his career with the Normal Fire | ||||||
| 10 | Department on October 5, 1981; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, He was promoted to Lieutenant on April 29, 1995; | ||||||
| 12 | and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, He was promoted to Captain on July 30, 1998; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, He has served his community and his profession | ||||||
| 15 | with dignity, dedication, and the highest standards of | ||||||
| 16 | integrity; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 18 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 19 | congratulate Captain Edward Hershberger on his retirement and | ||||||

| 1 | wish him all the best in his future endeavors; and be it | ||||||
