| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate James P. Antos on the | ||||||
| 4 | occasion of his retirement as Principal of Brother Rice High | ||||||
| 5 | School in Chicago; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, James Antos has been Principal at Brother Rice | ||||||
| 7 | High School since 1998; he joined Brother Rice in 1979 and has | ||||||
| 8 | served the school and its students in numerous capacities, | ||||||
| 9 | including as teacher, dean, baseball coach, and assistant | ||||||
| 10 | principal; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Prior to his time at Brother Rice High School, | ||||||
| 12 | James Antos worked at Queen of Peace High School from 1974 to | ||||||
| 13 | 1979 and at Moraine Valley Community College in 1979; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, James Antos graduated from St. Laurence High | ||||||
| 15 | School in 1966 and served in the United States Army from June | ||||||
| 16 | 1969 to December 1970; he earned his Bachelor of Arts in | ||||||
| 17 | Psychology with a Minor in Education from Illinois State | ||||||
| 18 | University (ISU) in 1973 and his Master of Arts in General | ||||||
| 19 | Experimental Psychology with a Minor in History from ISU in | ||||||
| 20 | 1976; and
| ||||||
| 21 | WHEREAS, James Antos has been married to Mary since 1973; | ||||||

| 1 | they have one son, Justin (Samantha), and a grandson, Milo; | ||||||
| 2 | therefore, be it

| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 4 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 5 | congratulate James P. Antos on his retirement as principal of | ||||||
| 6 | Brother Rice High School and we wish him the best in all his | ||||||
| 7 | future endeavors; and be it further
| ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 9 | presented to James Antos as an expression of our esteem and | ||||||
