| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Roland | ||||||
| 4 | David Wells; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Roland Wells was born on November 28, 1959, in | ||||||
| 6 | Chicago; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Roland Wells attended Corpus Christi and McCosh | ||||||
| 8 | Grammar Schools and Simeon High School; after graduation, he | ||||||
| 9 | entered the United States Army; while in the Army, he served in | ||||||
| 10 | Germany as a paratrooper; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, After his stint in the Army, Roland Wells returned | ||||||
| 12 | home to Chicago and decided to enter the child care industry; | ||||||
| 13 | he worked at numerous child care centers throughout the years; | ||||||
| 14 | and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, In 1998, Roland Wells moved to California, where | ||||||
| 16 | he remained until 2009; while there, he enjoyed swimming, | ||||||
| 17 | fishing, and camping; after returning to Chicago, he served as | ||||||
| 18 | a volunteer in a campaign office; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Roland Wells was lovingly called David by his | ||||||
| 20 | family and friends and Roland or Mr. Wells by the staff at | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | Jesse Brown Hospital; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 3 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 4 | we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of | ||||||
| 5 | Roland David Wells; and be it further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 7 | presented to the family of Roland Wells as an expression of our | ||||||
| 8 | sympathy.
