HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
Representatives wish to congratulate the Chicago Brushmasters
on their successful fundraising efforts and commend them for
their continued support for the families of the State of
Illinois with their Kustom Kulture Charity Art Auction; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters are part of a Chicago
tradition, known by sign professionals across America as the
"Chicago Style", which has produced some of our nation's most
renowned and respected sign painters and designers for 100
years; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters are part of Chicago's
rich tradition in the world of custom signs and pinstriping
and the Windy City's legendary history in motorsports that
gave rise to the charitable initiative originating in 2003,
Milwaukee World of Wheels, which brought together some of the
midwest's top custom sign writers and pinstripers; gathering
annually, this group became known as the Pinstripe Legends and
have raised over $1,000,000 for charitable organizations in
the Brew Town Area; and
WHEREAS, Given the success of the Milwaukee World of
Wheels, the Chicago Brushmasters established the Kustom

Kulture Charity Art Auctions in support of the Ronald McDonald
House, where over 40 of the midwest's top custom painters are
on hand every spring, producing hundreds of hand painted
Kustom Kulture art forms, including hot rod and race car body
panels, bike tanks and fenders, saddle bags, Kustom Kulture
panel art, and a vast array of motorsports and Chicago-themed
projects; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters have raised more than
$1.7 million over the past 19 years, an incredible show of
support that makes a meaningful difference for so many
families served by the Ronald McDonald House; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters bring their skills to
the Kustom Kulture Charity Art Auction in a way that only a
world class city like Chicago can produce; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago Brushmasters and the Kustom Kulture
Art Action raised more than $95,000 in just three days in April
2026 for the children and families of the Ronald McDonald
House, which helps ensure families can stay close to the
medical care their hospitalized children need most; and
WHEREAS, Chicago Brushmasters brings the artisan to a
world ever dependent upon technology to remind us of our
history and help bridge the gap between the past and the

high-tech realities of today; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
we congratulate the Chicago Brushmasters on their fundraising
success and commend their continued support for the families
of the State of Illinois with their Kustom Kulture Charity Art
Auction; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the Chicago Brushmasters as a symbol of our
respect and esteem.
