| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Gary Mical on the | ||||||
| 4 | occasion of his retirement as Superintendent of Wheeling | ||||||
| 5 | Township Elementary District 21; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Gary Mical spent 38 years in education in the | ||||||
| 7 | Chicago suburbs and 20 years as a superintendent, with 10 years | ||||||
| 8 | as superintendent at Fremont Elementary District 79 before | ||||||
| 9 | coming to District 21; he subsequently served as Superintendent | ||||||
| 10 | of Wheeling Township Elementary District 21 until his | ||||||
| 11 | retirement on June 30, 2012; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, During his tenure as Superintendent, Gary Mical | ||||||
| 13 | led District 21 through a redistricting process, a successful | ||||||
| 14 | tax increase campaign, and staff contract negotiations; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Gary Mical serves as a model of hard work, | ||||||
| 16 | integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of | ||||||
| 17 | Illinois; therefore, be it

| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 19 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 20 | we congratulate Gary Mical on the occasion of his retirement | ||||||
| 21 | and wish him many happy and healthy retirement years; and be it | ||||||
