| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Taylor Johnson of Peoria | ||||||
| 4 | on being selected as the 2015 Southern Illinois | ||||||
| 5 | University-Carbondale (SIU) Homecoming Queen; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Taylor Johnson is a senior at SIU, with a radio, | ||||||
| 7 | television, and broadcasting major and a minor in public | ||||||
| 8 | relations; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Taylor Johnson is a Dean's List recipient and a | ||||||
| 10 | resident assistant; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Taylor Johnson is President of the Black Women's | ||||||
| 12 | Task Force and a member of the Public Relations Student Society | ||||||
| 13 | of America, the River Region Evening Edition Student Newscast, | ||||||
| 14 | and the Special Programs Council; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Taylor Johnson is an active member in the | ||||||
| 16 | Carbondale community; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Taylor Johnson's mother, Annette Coleman, works | ||||||
| 18 | at Peoria High School; therefore, be it
