| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, It is the intent and policy of the State of | ||||||
| 3 | Illinois that every student, regardless of the economic or | ||||||
| 4 | social circumstances and regardless of the school to which the | ||||||
| 5 | student is assigned, has the right to the same level of | ||||||
| 6 | educational services as every other student in the State, to | ||||||
| 7 | the extent allowed by State funds; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 9 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 10 | we urge the administration of Chicago Public School District | ||||||
| 11 | 299 to allocate equal funding for each student, regardless of | ||||||
| 12 | where that student attends school; and be it further
| ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | ||||||
| 14 | presented to the Governor, the State Superintendent of | ||||||
| 15 | Education, and the Executive Officer of Chicago Public Schools | ||||||
| 16 | District 299.
