| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Jason Hoots, a seventh | ||||||
| 4 | grader at Greenfield Junior High School in Greenfield, on | ||||||
| 5 | placing first in the 200m at the 2024 Illinois Elementary | ||||||
| 6 | School Association (IESA) Class 1A 7th Grade Boys State Track | ||||||
| 7 | and Field Meet; and

| 8 | WHEREAS, While placing first, Jason Hoots additionally | ||||||
| 9 | broke the state record in the 200m with a time of 24.75 | ||||||
| 10 | seconds; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Jason Hoots also competed in the 100m, where he | ||||||
| 12 | placed second with a time of 12.60 seconds, and the long jump, | ||||||
| 13 | where he placed third with a distance of 17 feet and 0.75 | ||||||
| 14 | inches, a personal record; and

| 15 | WHEREAS, Jason Hoots is the son of Jeffrey and Megan | ||||||
