2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of | ||||||
4 | Cuauhtemoc "Temo" Estrada; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada served his country with pride | ||||||
6 | as a member of the United States Marine Corps; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada joined the Cook County | ||||||
8 | Sheriff's Office in 1994 as a correctional officer in the Cook | ||||||
9 | County Jail; during his distinguished 20-year tenure, he served | ||||||
10 | in various departments, including the Cook County Sheriff's | ||||||
11 | Vocational Rehabilitation Impact Center and the Electronic | ||||||
12 | Monitoring Unit; he also served as an investigator in the | ||||||
13 | Electronic Monitoring Unit for 13 years; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada was well regarded by his peers | ||||||
15 | for the tough but fair and humane manner in which he conducted | ||||||
16 | his work and his great loyalty and dedication to his family; | ||||||
17 | and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada is survived by his son; his 3 | ||||||
19 | daughters; and his 3 granddaughters; therefore, be it
| ||||||
20 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

1 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
2 | we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Cuauhtemoc "Temo" Estrada; and be it further
| ||||||
4 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
5 | presented to the family of Cuauhtemoc Estrada as an expression | ||||||
6 | of our sympathy.
