| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Eugene Tabour on | ||||||
| 4 | his retirement as a Trustee for the Evergreen Park Public | ||||||
| 5 | Library Board; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, He retired from the Board in October of 2011; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, He served 6 years in the United States Air Force | ||||||
| 8 | Military Police, including serving during the United Nations | ||||||
| 9 | action in the Belgian Congo and Lebanon; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, He is the proud father of 2 Eagle Scouts, Justin | ||||||
| 11 | Tabour and Jason Tabour, who formerly served as the Evergreen | ||||||
| 12 | Park Public Library Board President; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, He is retired as a District Sales Manager of | ||||||
| 14 | Industrial Steel; he is a lifetime member of the Calumet Yacht | ||||||
| 15 | Club; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, As a Trustee for the Evergreen Park Public Library | ||||||
| 17 | Board, he was a vital part of the planning and oversight of the | ||||||
| 18 | Library expansion and renovation project in 2006 and 2007; he | ||||||
| 19 | served from 1989 to 2011, holding positions as Vice President | ||||||
| 20 | and Treasurer; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 2 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 3 | we congratulate Eugene Tabour on his retirement and wish him | ||||||
| 4 | the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to Eugene Tabour as a symbol of our respect and | ||||||
| 7 | esteem.
