| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Eileen | ||||||
| 4 | Elizabeth Hoffman of Collinsville, who passed away on December | ||||||
| 5 | 3, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Eileen Hoffman was born on June 22, 1938 in Breese | ||||||
| 7 | to Francis and Irene (nee Schrage) Woltering; she earned both | ||||||
| 8 | her Bachelor of Science in Business and her master's degree in | ||||||
| 9 | Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at | ||||||
| 10 | Edwardsville; she married Ernest Hoffman on November 26, 1959; | ||||||
| 11 | and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Eileen Hoffman retired as program manager at Air | ||||||
| 13 | Mobility Command-Scott Air Force Base; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Eileen Hoffman was active with the Collinsville | ||||||
| 15 | Historical Museum, and volunteered for election campaigns; she | ||||||
| 16 | was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in | ||||||
| 17 | Maryville and was a former choir member; she enjoyed reading | ||||||
| 18 | and spending time with her family; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Eileen Hoffman was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 20 | husband, Ernest; her son, Jerome Hoffman; and her parents; and

| 1 | WHEREAS, Eileen Hoffman is survived by her son, State | ||||||
| 2 | Representative Jay (Laurie) Hoffman; her grandchildren, Emily | ||||||
| 3 | (Kyle) Stigler and Katelyn Hoffman; her brother, David (Lena) | ||||||
| 4 | Woltering; her sisters, Ruth (Tom) Kueper, Mary Edith (William) | ||||||
| 5 | Koch, Connie (Rick) Fangmeyer, and Janet (Joe) Humphrey; and | ||||||
| 6 | numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 8 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 9 | we mourn the passing of Eileen Elizabeth Hoffman, extend our | ||||||
| 10 | sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew | ||||||
| 11 | and loved her; and be it further
| ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 13 | presented to the family of Eileen Hoffman as an expression of | ||||||
