| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate sophomore Sydney | ||||||
| 4 | Dusel of Naperville Central High School on winning the 2013 | ||||||
| 5 | State championship in diving; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Sydney Dusel has only been participating in the | ||||||
| 7 | sport of diving for 2 years now and has already claimed a State | ||||||
| 8 | championship with a score of 450.55 points, beating her closest | ||||||
| 9 | opponent by 24 points; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Sydney Dusel is the first female diver in | ||||||
| 11 | Naperville Central High School history to win State; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Sydney Dusel saved her 3 most difficult dives for | ||||||
| 13 | the end so she could have a "big finish" and clinched the State | ||||||
| 14 | title with a 2-1/2 twister; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 16 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 17 | we congratulate Sydney Dusel on winning the 2013 State | ||||||
| 18 | championship in diving, and wish her the best in all her future | ||||||
| 19 | endeavors; and be it further
