HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Warren S.
Hadad of Antioch, who passed away on January 7, 2012; and
WHEREAS, He was born February 10, 1922 in Chicago, the son
of the late Benjamin Samuel and Edith Violet (Johnson) Hadad;
he grew up in Lake Villa, later lived in Waukegan, and settled
in Antioch in 1985; and
WHEREAS, He proudly served in the United States Navy during
World War II; on March 1, 1952 he married Shirley Schultz in
Waukegan; and
WHEREAS, He was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel
Church, Antioch and cherished spending time with his family; he
worked from 1946 to 1986 as a plumber, and then joined his
sons, working for Hadad Custom Homes, retiring in 1997; and
WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley
Hadad; his parents; and his sister, Virginia Banks; and
WHEREAS, Warren Hadad is survived by his children, Gary
(Diane), Jerry (Teresa), LuAnn (Gerald) Miller, and Leslie
Wenzel; his 11 grandchildren; his 11 great-grandchildren; and

his siblings, Ben (Margaret) Hadad, Lyla (Tony) Palmieri, and
June Pierce; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
Warren Hadad; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Warren Hadad as a symbol of our
sincere sympathy.
