HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Juanita
Bitoy of Bolingbrook, who passed away on November 8, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Juanita Bitoy was born on March 1, 1937; she was
the second eldest of twelve children, nine of whom preceded her
in death; and
WHEREAS, Juanita Bitoy was the beloved wife of the late
John A. Bitoy Sr.; the devoted mother of John, Tyrone,
Vurnetha, Ralph, Michael, Stephen, and honorary daughter,
Carolyn Thompson-Barnes; the loving grandmother of Jelani,
Leonardo, Vurnetha, Layla, Sadamichi, Michael Jr., Noboru,
Jennifer, Shyeta, John III, Christopher, Alisa, Lance,
Kathrina, and honorary grandson Raphael; the fond
great-grandmother of Jaylen, Michael III, Jelani Jr., Mason,
Jalil, Anouk, and Micah; she was the dear aunt of many;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
mourn the passing of Juanita Bitoy and extend our sincere
condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
her; and be it further
