| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate the members of the Marist | ||||||
| 4 | Red Hawks softball team on the occasion of their victory in the | ||||||
| 5 | IHSA Class 4A State tournament; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, The Red Hawks defeated Lincoln-Way East 1-0 to | ||||||
| 7 | achieve victory in the IHSA Class 4A State tournament; the team | ||||||
| 8 | ended their season with a phenomenal 36-4-2 record; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, This victory marks the Red Hawks' second State | ||||||
| 10 | title in 4 years; the team also finished the season on an | ||||||
| 11 | impressive 29-game winning streak; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, The members of the Red Hawks are Hayley Franks, | ||||||
| 13 | Jillian Kenny, Alexis Rogers, Vanessa Villasenor, Maggie | ||||||
| 14 | Kehoe, Lizzie Annerino, Brooke Wilson, Emily Luzzo, Zariya | ||||||
| 15 | Gonzalez, Paige Egan, Amanda McIlhany, Emily Reilly, Kara | ||||||
| 16 | Apato, and Madison Naujokas; the team's head coach is Colleen | ||||||
| 17 | Biebel and the assistant coaches are Ashley Barry and Nicole | ||||||

| 19 | WHEREAS, The members of the Red Hawks serve as models of | ||||||
