| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, November 11 is nationally recognized as Veteran's | ||||||
| 3 | Day; on this day, we are reminded to thank, honor, and | ||||||
| 4 | celebrate the military men and women who have served and | ||||||
| 5 | protected the American people and our way of life; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Many communities and organizations pay tribute to | ||||||
| 7 | the thousands of American veterans on this day; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, As every veteran has made the oath to protect this | ||||||
| 9 | nation, under risk of bodily harm, making sure that all | ||||||
| 10 | veterans receive due and proper honor and acknowledgement is a | ||||||
| 11 | priority that will not be compromised; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, The members of this body are dedicated to ensuring | ||||||
| 13 | that all Illinois veterans receive proper recognition for their | ||||||
| 14 | courageous service to this nation; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Dedicating the month of November to all Illinois | ||||||
| 16 | veterans will enable the citizens of this State to pay tribute | ||||||
| 17 | to all veterans and make certain that no veteran is forgotten; | ||||||

| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
