| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Corrine | ||||||
| 4 | Robinson, who passed away on September 20, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson was born in Henderson, Texas; she | ||||||
| 6 | accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young girl; in | ||||||
| 7 | December of 1962, she moved to Chicago, where she lived the | ||||||
| 8 | remainder of her life; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson enjoyed making people happy, | ||||||
| 10 | praying, reading the Bible, cooking, quilting, playing with her | ||||||
| 11 | stuffed animals, and spending time with her family; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 13 | sons, Cecil Choice and O.C. Choice; her daughter, Mary | ||||||
| 14 | Catherine Bell; her brother; her sister, Roberta Johnson; her | ||||||
| 15 | grandsons, O.C., Jr. and Brian Keith; and many other family | ||||||
| 16 | members; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson is survived by her daughter, | ||||||
| 18 | Elgrine Phillips; her 22 grandchildren; her 17 | ||||||
| 19 | great-grandchildren; her great-nephew, John; her 3 great-great | ||||||
| 20 | nieces; and many other relatives; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 2 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 3 | we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | Corrine Robinson; and be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Corrine Robinson as an expression of | ||||||
| 7 | our sympathy.
