| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the owners and | ||||||
| 4 | staff of Kappy's Restaurant and Pancake House in Morton Grove | ||||||
| 5 | on their 30th anniversary; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Kappy's Restaurant is rated one of the "Top Ten | ||||||
| 7 | Spots for Breakfast in Chicago" by Phil Vettel; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Chef and owner George Alpogianis will offer | ||||||
| 9 | specialty items on a "Harvest Menu" as part of the anniversary | ||||||
| 10 | celebration, including Grilled Chicken Breast with Summer | ||||||
| 11 | Tomato and Herb Vinaigrette and Corn-crusted Catfish with Black | ||||||
| 12 | Bean Salsa and Tortilla Strips; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, A customer reunion will be held on August 29, | ||||||
| 14 | 2009, as well as a Black Dog Car Show in the parking lot; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, On September 12, 2009 a pig roast and apple pie | ||||||
| 16 | bake off will be held in the parking lot with delicious pulled | ||||||
| 17 | pork BBQ sandwiches being served; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Kappy's has been serving delicious meals for | ||||||
| 19 | breakfast, lunch, and dinner at 7200 West Dempster Street in | ||||||
| 20 | Morton Grove since 1979; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 2 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 3 | congratulate the owners and staff of Kappy's Restaurant and | ||||||
| 4 | wish them the best in all their future endeavors; and be it | ||||||
