| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Mary Beth Cassity on the | ||||||
| 4 | occasion of her retirement from the Twentieth Judicial Circuit
| ||||||
| 5 | Court Services and Probation
Department after 31 years of | ||||||
| 6 | service; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Mary Beth Cassity served the Twentieth Judicial | ||||||
| 8 | Circuit Court from April 10, 1989
to
April 30, 2020; she held | ||||||
| 9 | the positions of Probation Officer, Senior Officer, | ||||||
| 10 | Supervisor, and Drug Court Coordinator; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Mary Beth Cassity has received numerous awards | ||||||
| 12 | throughout her career, including the Illinois Probation and | ||||||
| 13 | Court Services Association (IPCSA) Pauline Gansauer Award in | ||||||
| 14 | 2018
and the IPCSA Distinguished Service Award in 2013; she | ||||||
| 15 | received several Letters of Commendation, including one for | ||||||
| 16 | Outstanding Performance as a Probation Officer in 2010, one | ||||||
| 17 | from a mother of a client for outstanding service to her son in | ||||||
| 18 | 2001, and one from the Tamaroa Public School District #5 for | ||||||
| 19 | her outstanding efforts and making a lasting impression on the | ||||||
| 20 | 7th and 8th grade classes; and
| ||||||
| 21 | WHEREAS, Mary Beth Cassity has been married to Brian for | ||||||
| 22 | 35 years; they have two children, Chelsey and Kyle, and three | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | grandchildren, Brody, Rowyn, and Brynn; and
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, Mary Beth Cassity has lived her entire live in | ||||||
| 3 | Tamaroa; she has served on the Pickneyville School Board and | ||||||
| 4 | is a St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 6 | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 7 | we congratulate Mary Beth Cassity on her retirement from the | ||||||
| 8 | Twentieth Judicial Circuit

| 9 | Department after 31 years of service; and be it further
| ||||||
| 10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
