3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Anthony | ||||||
4 | Russell of Owings Mills, Maryland, who passed away on August | ||||||
5 | 4, 2023; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Anthony Russell was born in Chicago on April 4, | ||||||
7 | 1950; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Anthony Russell served in the U.S. Navy as a | ||||||
9 | sub-mariner and senior chief for 22 years;
he was stationed in | ||||||
10 | Edzell, Scotland, Anchorage, Alaska, Okinawa, Japan, and Fort | ||||||
11 | Meade in Maryland; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Anthony Russell served as an assistant scout | ||||||
13 | master with the Boy Scouts of America for many years; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Anthony Russell loved tennis and bowling; he also | ||||||
15 | enjoyed baseball, and the Baltimore Orioles were his favorite | ||||||
16 | team; and

17 | WHEREAS, Anthony Russell was the husband of Wendy B. | ||||||
18 | Russell; the father of Bryan A. (Debra) Russell, Richard A. | ||||||
19 | Russell, and David A. Russell; the grandfather of Katelyn | ||||||
20 | Russell; and the brother of Eddie L. Russell (U.S. Army) and |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||

Anthony Russell and extend our sincere
