| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to honor James Oskroba for his | ||||||
| 4 | dedication to the people of Hoffman Estates; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, James Oskroba began his employment with the | ||||||
| 6 | Village of Hoffman Estates Public Works Department on September | ||||||
| 7 | 2, 1969 and retired on July 1, 2008; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, James later became a firefighter for the Village; | ||||||
| 9 | he was dedicated to his role, continued to receive job | ||||||
| 10 | training, and maintained a positive attitude in all | ||||||
| 11 | circumstances; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, He participated in the Dive Team, served as an EMT | ||||||
| 13 | and engineer, and was President of Firefighters Union 2061 for | ||||||
| 14 | many years; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, The Village of Hoffman Estates is declaring May | ||||||
| 16 | 11, 2009 as James Oskroba Day in the Village; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 18 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 19 | congratulate James Oskroba on this special occasion and honor | ||||||
| 20 | and thank him for his years of dedication to the people of | ||||||

| 1 | Hoffman Estates; and be it further

| 2 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 3 | presented to James Oskroba as a symbol of our respect.
