| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Kevin Sabato of | ||||||
| 4 | Gurnee on the occasion of attaining the coveted rank of Eagle | ||||||
| 5 | Scout on December 22, 2008; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Kevin Sabato was a member of the Cub Scouts from | ||||||
| 7 | September of 1998 to March of 2003; he then became a member of | ||||||
| 8 | the Boy Scouts, becoming a Scout in March of 2003; once again | ||||||
| 9 | showing great initiative, he rose through the Boy Scout ranks | ||||||
| 10 | until he reached the pinnacle of achievement within the | ||||||
| 11 | organization, the rank of Eagle Scout; in total, he has earned | ||||||
| 12 | 34 Merit Badges; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Kevin Sabato has served in many positions of | ||||||
| 14 | responsibility within the Boy Scouts, including Senior Patrol | ||||||
| 15 | Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Troop Guide, Patrol | ||||||
| 16 | Leader, Quartermaster, and Grubmaster; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Kevin Sabato is a student at Carmel Catholic High | ||||||
| 18 | School in Mundelein; he is a member of the school's Service | ||||||
| 19 | Club, Bowling Club, and French Club, as well as the Scholastic | ||||||
| 20 | Bowl; he is also a member of the National Honor Society, Mu | ||||||
| 21 | Alpha Theta, and La Societe Honoraire de Francais; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Kevin Sabato's family, friends, and fellow | ||||||
| 2 | Scouts, along with the members of this body, are proud of his | ||||||
| 3 | hard work and dedication in gaining this prestigious rank; | ||||||
| 4 | therefore, be it

| 5 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 6 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 7 | congratulate Kevin Sabato on the occasion of attaining the | ||||||
| 8 | coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success and | ||||||
| 9 | happiness in the future; and be it further
