2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mary L. Webb as she | ||||||
4 | retires from the Hazel Crest School District after 38 years of | ||||||
5 | service; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Mary Webb began working for the Hazel Crest School | ||||||
7 | District 152 1/2 in August of 1975 as the General Business | ||||||
8 | Clerk; she was the first African American female to be hired in | ||||||
9 | the district office; she eventually moved to a position as | ||||||
10 | Building Secretary at Woodland Elementary School; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, After a brief stint at Warren Palm, Mary Webb | ||||||
12 | returned to Woodland Elementary and finished her career at the | ||||||
13 | school; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Mary Webb's children Tyrone, Andre, and LaKeya are | ||||||
15 | all graduates of the Hazel Crest School District; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Mary Webb is planning on spending her retirement | ||||||
17 | with her children, her 6 grandchildren, and her husband; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Mary Webb's retirement will be official on May 28, | ||||||
19 | 2013; therefore, be it

1 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
2 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
3 | we congratulate Mary Webb on her retirement, thank her for her | ||||||
4 | service to the Hazel Crest School District, and wish her all | ||||||
5 | the best with her future endeavours; and be it further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to Mary Webb as an expression of our esteem and | ||||||
8 | respect.
