HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Alfonse
"Al" Zuccarini of Brimfield, who passed away on March 2, 2015;
and
WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was born on August 11, 1957 in
Freeport, New York; his parents were John Louis and Marie
Deloris (nee Gannatti) Zuccarini; he married Kathy Gisslen on
May 7, 2004 in Peoria; and
WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was the owner of World Famous
Big Al's in downtown Peoria since 1997; as a businessman, he
was instrumental in the establishment of many businesses in the
Peoria area; and
WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was preceded in death by his
father and a brother-in-law, Robert Schoepfer; and
WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini is survived by his wife, Kathy;
his mother, Marie; a daughter, Nicole Zuccarin; 2 sisters,
Margherite Schoepfer and Joanne (George) Swarbrick; a niece,
Corinne (Stephen) Henry; and a great-nephew, Stephen Henry,
Jr.; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of
Alfonse "Al" Zuccarini; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Alfonse Zuccarini as an expression
of our sympathy.
